The great thing is location in the heart of the city. The train station is 700 metres away or 10 minutes' walk.

Loved the way our queen room with a view was. It was in a very central setting right in the very centre of Lucca. Overall the staff was really good and pleasant.

There was splendid food, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and overall comfy room! Its location within easy walking distance of a striking 1100s church was unbeatable.

Overall it was a wonderful stay for 3 nights. The location was great, for example, a public square was relatively near the hotel.

The room we had was huge with a renaissance decoration. The personnel was absolutely outstanding, and the owner too. The location was marvellous, a short walk to cafés and bars.

The breakfast for the bakery around the corner was served in the dining room. The hotel's location was amazing, just off the best restaurants as well as the centre of Lucca in a listed building. It also was in a really good restaurant.

We recently stayed at a charming bed and breakfast in the heart of a beautiful town. L'Antica Bifore, our accommodation, was simply incredible. The room was like something out of a fairytale, with enormous mullioned glass windows that overlooked the stunning Chiesa San Cristoforo. The antique furnishings gave the room a touch of Agatha Christie elegance, and the warm and comforting welcome from the owners set the tone for our entire stay. They even arranged a cab for our departure, showing their exceptional hospitality. We will definitely be returning to L'Antica Bifore on our next visit to this town!

This hotel is located in the heart of a bustling area with plenty of shopping and restaurants. It is also conveniently close to all the attractions in the city. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and clean. The service provided by the hosts is exceptional, with helpful recommendations and assistance with transportation. The breakfast options are delicious, and the dining room is filled with interesting books about the area. Some rooms even offer a stunning view of the neighboring church.

The central location of the hotel means that there may be some noise in the mornings, so it is advisable to bring earplugs.

It was a little chilly at night. Part of that is due to the nature of the building (stone floors), but a towel heater or something to make the bathroom more cozy would be nice.
